About WUSC
WUSC is a Canadian non-profit organization working to create a better world for all young people. We bring together a diverse network of students, volunteers, schools, governments, and businesses who share this vision. Together, we foster youth-centered solutions for improved education, economic, and empowerment opportunities to overcome inequality and exclusion in over 15 countries across Asia, Africa, and the Americas..
Our work around the world wouldn’t be possible without the support of the Canadian public. That’s why we undertake numerous public engagement initiatives aimed at raising awareness among the Canadian population. The art exhibition Through my Eyes: Art for Development fits within this dynamic. It is actually the result of a deep collaboration between numerous stakeholders from Ghana, Malawi, and Canada, working together to convey the key messages of the 2030 Agenda and its direct implications for populations, to an audience as diverse as possible.
Through various other campaigns such as HerFuture, Building Welcoming Communities, and Interconnexions, WUSC raises awareness on a range of issues, including access to education for girls and refugees, as well as community-building for all newcomers.
